Colorado Beef Festival Recap: Thor’s Hammer Takes the Stage
The 2025 Colorado Beef Festival was a day full of flavor, fire, and community — and Centennial Cuts was proud to be part of it.
Chef Pablo Aya’s Live Fire Demos
One of the biggest highlights was watching Chef Pablo Aya and his talented team showcase our Centennial Cuts Thor’s Hammer. Pablo prepared this incredible cut three ways — all on the smoker, including a batch wrapped in banana leaves that turned heads and won over taste buds. Guests were able to see first-hand how versatile and delicious this impressive cut can be.
Education in Action
For us, the event wasn’t just about flavor — it was also about education. Cuts like Thor’s Hammer help people explore beyond the typical steaks and roasts. By learning how to cook and enjoy these unique cuts, beef lovers not only expand their own kitchens but also support ranchers by ensuring more of the animal is valued and utilized.
Community Connections
Luke and Adam Larson joined the Centennial Cuts team on-site, sampling and selling our beef jerky, talking with festival-goers, and sharing our ranch-to-table story. We loved seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new friends, and connecting with others across the Colorado agriculture and beef community.
Thank You
A big thank you goes out to the Hispanic Restaurant Association and the Colorado Beef Council for organizing such a world-class event. Their work in bringing together ranchers, chefs, and the community made this day unforgettable.
